What led you to choosing quality and regulatory compliance as a career field?
Working in quality and regulatory provides the opportunity to collaborate with different people and functions across an organization and have a visible role in achieving results. QA/RA is the primary driver for best practices to help ensure organizations remain focused on the end goal and achieve the intended results. It’s especially rewarding in the medical device and health technology fields where the work has a direct and positive impact on peoples’ lives.
What excites you about the type of work you do?
The most exciting and rewarding aspect of the work that I do is knowing that I have a direct impact in providing treatment to those in need. Aspects of quality and regulatory influence nearly every facet of an organization to help realize the goal of providing safe and effective treatments so that people can live longer, healthier and happier lives.
What are you looking forward to in your new role at Better Therapeutics?
I’m looking forward to getting to know my new colleagues and producing healthy working relationships and helping Better Therapeutics innovate digital therapeutics to bring its treatments to the masses.
Why did you choose Better Therapeutics?
The people and the goals behind the company. There’s a strong sense of compassion, motivation and camaraderie which contributes to a healthy work environment and a robust product, all of which synergize to produce successful outcomes and a positive patient experience.
What is one fun fact about yourself?
I once won a T-shirt design contest, and as a reward, I spent a day with Car and Driver track-testing all sorts of exotic sports cars, and even rode along on some hot laps. It was a car lover’s dream.
