Employee Spotlight – Monique Wright

Earlier this month we welcomed a new employee to the Better Therapeutics crew – Monique Wright, Senior Quality Assurance Analyst. Monique joins us with over nine years of experience in the software technology industry as a quality assurance test engineer, working in mobile, web-based and client-server applications for mostly health and pharmaceutical companies.

In her role at Better Therapeutics, Monique will be part of the team ensuring that our prescription digital therapeutic software runs smoothly for users. Monique brings a lot to the table on a professional level, but beyond the resume, her passion for our mission and positive spirit makes her a great new addition to our team.

What led you to a career in technology?

Technology has always been alluring to me. It’s ever-changing and ties into so many aspects of our day-to-day lives. I love being part of the process of creating new products that can positively impact users.

What attracted you to Better Therapeutics?

The mission and vision behind the product. It is highly motivating to be able to contribute to the betterment of treating diabetes for patients nationwide. Also, meeting the amazing team behind the product made Better Therapeutics even more appealing. Everyone is passionate about the products they’re building to help better patient lives.

What do you find most exciting about the type of work you do?

I love the investigation aspect of quality assurance. I enjoy validating products, uncovering findings and detecting issues to help a product reach its best potential.

What are you most looking forward to in your new role at Better Therapeutics?

Learning, growing and contributing my skill sets with our team to help deliver an amazing and efficient product to our patients.

When you’re not working, how do you like to spend your time?

I love spending quality time with my loved ones, traveling, working out, shopping, catching up on any new reads, binge watching good shows, tending to my plants and my fur baby (Chibi), and practicing and expanding my skill sets.
